I am here at Lauren's for the Thanksgiving holiday. We leave tomorrow morning to head back home. School starts on Wednesday. At work we are in the process of raising money for St. Jude. With this fundraiser we are reminded to be thankful for our health, friends, and family. I had a friend die many years ago due to cancer. I have been thinking about him lately and being thankful for every day that is given to me.
Always be thankful.

I have so much to be thankful for, especially you and all of my family!
I think about Josh quite often...the day he died especially. I found out earlier in that day from his grandmother. I remember when she told me that even in the deep sadness, I remember feeling joy at the freedom he was now experiencing and thankfulness for the time we shared with him and his family. God is His grace taught us how to live-in Christ today-tomorrow may never come. Josh's life impacted the lives of others and that is what matters the most-not the length of life-but the impact of it! Yes, we have lots to be thankful for!
